Beyond Hand Puppets

I have been looking for a soft light for the nursery, as I have read that keeping the baby as sleepy and unawake as possible is key to getting through night nursing.  At first I considered a traditional night light, but some sources warn that even that may a bit too much.  So…I began looking for candles, as they seem to have worked for 4000 years.

Searching for “natural” light, I came across these lovely Lumen Shadow Projectors, that basically work like (stagnant) hand puppets. I imagine if you were creative (I, sadly, am not) that you could create an infinite number of silhouettes along the same lines and affix them somehow.

The Lumens are approximately $50.00, and would be a unique gift for a new mama. Or anyone, really.
