Though not a massive fan of this green, I am a massive fan of Kate Quinn organics. And of elbow patches. (So professorial.)

Her girl coats are very sweet (though what possessed her to pair this brown coat with orange trousers…) and perfect for over a skirt and tights.

My son sported his Kate Quinn bomber jacket (so classic) all Spring – which was perfect for golfing…

Beautiful organic crib sheets are as rare as passionate Norwegians. And the few that do exist tend to be terribly modern or soporifically simple. Neither of these options would suit my Lilly P. clad, Tori Burch shod Junior League cousin-in-law in the South who sees the world in pink and kelly green. This post is for her.

Cottage Belles, on Etsy, has the single most beautiful collection (all custom, my dear) of organic crib bedding for Steel Magnolias, that I have seen this side of the Mississippi. But, of course, it’s actually all made in Texas – which makes total and utter sense.

I mean, look at that crib! Any self respecting Vineyard Vine wearing, Topsider shod dad would be happy to lift is heir out of such a beautifully dressed cocoon! Is there anything sweeter than Gingham? Exactly.

And any DAR mama-in-law would positively beam, why, yes she would, at the photos of her little pickle on such darlin’ sheets. One does show these photos at the Club, remember.

And even Yankee mamas, a few at least, will appreciate Cottage Belles heavenly bedding – especially if she appreciates monograms, linen napkins and sweet tea. Yes. Even some Yankees balk at the the horror of orange circles on sheets attempting to pass as appropriate for baby linens.

I’m absolutely besotted with this bedding. And I know that my cousin-in-law will just swoon, (in a delicate debutante manner), when I show her the Cottage Belles collection.

Though I have yet to find the Holy Grail of organic boys clothes (an organic Navy Blue Blazer), I may be getting closer….

I found an organic Oxford today (over at Pure & Little) – which is proof that that even Mikimoto wearing mums can be green.

I know this seems a rather innocuous find – but I have searched – for hours and hours – for an organic baby Oxford – to no avail. Heinrich Schliemann had more success than me. But I am now inspired. If there is an Oxford, can a blazer be far behind?

The only thing more difficult than being green and preppy, is being a Liberal vegan in Texas. Or. No. I take that back. Being (Kelly) green and loving argyle is far more daunting.

But, as Kiwi magazine featured this month, PureBaby has some lovely organic togs (available stateside at HalfPintCitizens), worthy of a clam bake on the Cape.  Such as this lovely smocked dress…

I must of had at least 10 argyle sweaters when I was in high school. Normally that wouldn’t be impressive – but I lived in Florida.

These too sweet organic argyle shoes are from Franny & June, via Etsy. Clearly they don’t live on East Coast, or they would develop an entire line, open a shop on the Cape and become zillionaires.

If you know a couple who think it’s quite normal to have trousers covered in little lobsters – this is the gift for them.
